False hope for tools and equipment
Useless on Mk7 GTI. It's too big to fit under the BMC, so make just under 1/8th of a turn before hitting the hot side charge tube. Over time and frustration, you may loosen the filter housing enough to remove it from the DSG, only to find that it is too big to fit through a hole to remove from the car. As a result, I removed the battery compartment and air intake.
