I live in an apartment with limited storage space. Got them replacing my metal screens as they were taking up too much space. They work great. My husband even put a strainer in a pot of water and put the noodles in. When the noodles were done, you simply lifted the strainer. "That's cool". I'm not sure if that was the intended use. but it worked. It's important to remember that there are only holes at the bottom. Great for holding water but not as fast as a traditional colander.
