I have an old peeler with a plastic handle. The handle of this vegetable peeler is made of stainless steel, so it has some weight! The blade is much sharper than my old one. To use this cleaner, the direction of use is different from my old one. Once you get used to this new peeler it is great for peeling potatoes etc. It is a general purpose peeler that you can easily find at Revain. At the time of writing the review, the price was not given. So this could be a consideration when buying!
