Review on 💧 TERA PUMP TRDNC100: Reusable NO-Splash Cap for 5 Gallon Water Bottles & Dispensers - Probe-Less Solution by Josh Goldsmith

My cooler came with a plastic cap which was strong but broke after 7 years and spurted water when the 5 gallon bottle was turned upside down. Found this cap and decided to try it based on the reviews from other customers. The comments made me think this would work fine, but it was "unreliable". Thinking it might not last long I decided to buy two lids. I have to admit, when they arrived I was skeptical. The blue snap part is very "soft and pliable" so I was afraid it wouldn't stay on the bottle if turned upside down. To my great surprise and delight, the cap held in place and not a single drop of water spilled out of the bottle. I've used it on 4 bottles since first use and it continues to work great. My only negative comment is that the white piston part, which also feels "thin", is longer than it should be for my cooler. As a result, if I do not place the bottle directly on the cooler, the piston is pushed in at an angle. This doesn't stop the lid from doing its job, but I'm concerned that over time the angle could break the piston or damage the tension spring that closes the lid unless it's upside down in the radiator.
