Great brush! Durable, quickly cleans deep drink containers

Excellent durable brush. This new one replaces the one I bought about 2 years ago. I couldn't live without her. I find the descending movement the most useful. I didn't freeze or stop moving. It goes with everything I use regularly including deeper to-go water bottles etc. The bristles do a good job of cleaning those pesky lids on spinning to-go drink containers. This cleans the glass much faster than with a cloth or other dishwashing brushes. Why did I buy the first brush? I haven't been to the bar to wash glassware in decades, but we used commercial products with similar rotating dip brushes mounted vertically. When I saw this brush it reminded me of the speed/efficiency of the rotary immersion brushes that have cleaned hundreds of glasses from dry red wine to ice cream jars. The bristles are softer, less dense and longer than I thought. I made a few test presses at the grocery store and bought one. My brush and bristles last an embarrassingly long time - two years! The bristles aren't really worn out, I just swap them out on the fly or I'm worried about viruses and bacteria this time of year. I hate having non-organic chlorox in my house, but it has its place and I occasionally soak my brushes in a 10% solution for ten minutes if someone gets sick or if some jars have been left in the sink longer than usual . There is no dishwasher and no utensils. I try to only use it for drink containers, rinse it in hot water and dry a little upright on my dish rack. I recently cleaned out a cupboard full of unused fashion crystals, from small Orrefors whiskey glasses to Lalique champagne glasses (past life - no comment please) and used an almost two year old brush which I just replaced. I use it for soup bowls and it cleans greasy residue very well. I wince, wondering if the next glass will be greasy, but so far so good. Dry lip balms and some lipsticks require a little more cleaning than these soft bristles can handle. I stop and rub my fingertips and then brush again. If I wanted to improve it I'd maybe make the stubble a bit thicker on top and regularly wish it had a soap dispenser. But I berate my two Oxo dishwashing brushes for soap dispensers quite often, sometimes I use 7th gen glass cleaner or homemade glass cleaner instead of 7th gen Free&Clear dishwashing solution for extra shine, so ditch the soap dispenser idea. 12 dollars. The old ones are repurposed for all sorts of dirty nooks and crannies inside and out.
