The ink smears making it unusable
I wouldn't buy it again - after a few uses the ink smudges a lot. I had black ink on my hands and all over the white part of the measuring cup. If the ink does not hold up well with soap and water, it should not be used. And yes, it has only been hand washed, it has not been put in the dishwasher. A mug without a mark is just a glass
