The included drywall screws and anchors don't cost a penny. The whole block broke out of the wall when the kitten tried to climb it for the first time. We bought a 50 lb drywall screw and anchor set at the local hardware store and it works great. Apart from that, it is easy to assemble. The cats scratched him before he got up.
