Works much easier than cleaning and dampening a sponge. However. The holder is VERY light. There are some "legs" on the bottom that provide some traction, but you can easily move it around your work surface. My solution was to buy 4 large 2 1/2" wing washers and put them in the bottom of the container. The extra weight will help hold the holder in place.
