I ordered this for light housework to protect my hands from dust and cobwebs while cleaning. So it certainly came as a surprise that after just 5 minutes of throwing away old magazines, I found that the tips of my index fingers and thumbs were cracked. It couldn't be my nails because I had recently trimmed them so they weren't long enough or sharp enough to cut through. And I did a simple job. At first I thought it was an accident so I bought another pair. The same happened 10 minutes later. I even tried wearing two pairs at the same time. It does not matter. The only positive thing I can say is that the medium fits my hands well. They are of very poor quality and I would not recommend these gloves to anyone.
