I have a 2008 Scion XB. I used the iPod cable that came with the car, but it started having connection issues a few years ago. It's gotten so bad lately that if it was plugged in at all, it would shut itself off the moment you looked at it or breathed into it. He obviously had a short circuit. I searched the internet for a replacement cable for a long time. I found this cable and decided to try it and it works great! I checked it and it even charges my iPod. Yes, the cable is half the length of the original, but I don't care since I have a working cable again. I recommend this to anyone with a Scion looking for a replacement cable for their iPod.
