I rated it lower because it is smaller than each of the 3 different sizes listed See photos of the 3 options shown in a listing Compartment and straps are 9.25" to 12" long depending on how strong they are measured.The smaller size proved important not only because I wanted a bigger bag but also because the shoulder straps are not long enough to fit in the bag when stuff is in it hence slips on me the outer strap constantly falling off my shoulder just grabbing it.Very uncomfortable when shopping and when you want to be able to look at the goods freely with both hands.At the same time, I really like the design of the bag, it has very practical pockets on the right st ellen. The material and construction are reasonable considering the price I paid (about $17). It's cute too. I've used it a few times and I'm not planning on throwing it away just yet, but I'm very disappointed that it's not the big bag I wanted. Had the size been correct (the description says 19"+) this probably would have been my choice and I would have given it a 5 star review.
