Fine, not the best.

I would like to start by saying they are of decent quality. I ordered 2 packs of medium grit, although I don't think "grit" is the term for it. Texture would be a better description. I have several brands of this Japanese lingerie. absolutely love her. I won't use anything else unless something better comes along, but I don't think that will happen any time soon. They're in my rotation and they have their place. The medium texture is quite soft and non-abrasive compared to some others I have. Rougher than a regular cotton pad but not as harsh as some of the other Japanese exfoliating wipes. I use them when I'm not very dirty, when I don't have very dead or rough skin, mostly when I just need to wash my face without doing a harsh scrub. They still work as a scrub, as said, not as good as others due to their softness. So I think this is the case because I think it would make sense to have multiple different texture layers. They foam very well and hold the foam, which is what I expected from this type of towel. Absolutely foaming all around, they form a very elastic and thin creamy foam that adheres well to the fabric until it is carefully rinsed off. They are enough to wash the whole body, and even more so. They're also big enough to grab both ends and pull up and down your back, which is another reason I love these Japanese towels. They allow me access to my back, which I previously couldn't fully wash in the shower because I just couldn't fully reach it. These rags fix it completely. I like it. Now for some of the downsides. This brand seems to have a lower standard than others I own. They are very thin, all towels of this type, but these are VERY thin. Also, the edges aren't woven as well as others, so the towels take on a "wavy" appearance at the edges since they're basically just rough, raw edges. I'm definitely concerned about the durability of these towels, they just don't last as long as other brands that are made with a higher pedigree. My favorite brand I've found so far is Goshi towels. Look at her. They're a bit more expensive and they're not as soft, but that's good. These buddhas are ALMOST too soft to be of any use to me. They are definitely worth what you pay for and I would buy more. Overall they are good, although a little flimsy and less durable than other brands. I would buy them again but stock up on other brands first. They just aren't as good as some of the other options.
