Review on Dexter Russell P8 8 Inch Ceramic Sharpener by Jerry Bergstad

I have had Dexter Russell pottery since the 1980's and my father taught me how to use them. I've been using it for ages to keep my knives sharp. After decades of warning family members that it would shatter like glass if dropped, I dropped it this morning and... yes, you guessed it, it shattered like glass. I was SO mad at myself but on the same day I'm here to buy another one that I hope to have for at least 35 years to come. It takes a while to master the technique, but once you've got it and your knives are sharpened to your own angle, you'll be making a dozen strokes across this ceramic every time you use your knife, making it work like a scalpel cut.
