Great product, very well built... Easy installation July 2020 updated results

Great product, very well built... Easy installation. Be sure to use enough Teflon tape. I reduced the recording to 3/4 with a PVC sleeve. As an extra precaution, I put a cable tie around the outside edge of the bushing before inserting the 3/4" hard pipe... It's extra insurance to prevent the bushing from splintering, so why not? By the way, not all PVC grommets are created equal. If there's a visible seam on the threads, I won't use them. They tend to leak under pressure. Also, a small amount of tape applied to plumbing helped to fix the To prevent minor Inlet-side sweats experienced by others here. This two-stage canister block serves as the primary filter for the whole house from the pressure tank. (well system). No noticeable 40/60 pressure changes. Plan to install a third canister water supply to the kitchen with one 0.5 micron filter. It's easy, why not? I expect negligible pressure drop on this line but it is only used for drinking water and cooking. The 3rd stage final filter can be replaced at any time to accommodate future needs... I ordered slightly thicker o-rings (o-ring 151122). fit.Updated January 6, 2019 System still working well...no leaks,,, Primary filter replaced, same o-ring used. No problem. In my opinion this is probably one of the best filter systems on the market. Update July 2020…. The system continues to function as expected. Replaced primary and secondary filters,,, O-rings reused, 3rd filter and no leaks,,,,,,, Part number 15122. Installed the 3rd filter described above for the kitchen about a year ago......Used 0.5 carbon filter. Works well with slight pressure drop. A reverse osmosis system is also installed, which is fed by a secondary filter. The reverse osmosis system also feeds the ice machine.

Pros
  • Kitchen and bathroom installation
Cons
  • Some small things
