but no luck with her sandals - very comfortable
I have been an avid Merrell wearer for years but have had no luck with their sandals - very comfortable but the fabric straps wear out long before the soles stop working. My previous two pairs have lasted just over a year - as opposed to my walking shoes which I have owned for over 10 years! This time I tried a (mostly) leather strap and hope it lasts longer. Very pleasant so far. The ankle strap is (as some people have mentioned) a little tighter than I would like, but not uncomfortable. So I'm hoping to get a few years out of this couple.
