My wife asked for one for Christmas after using it at a friends dinner. I didn't know much about them and this one rated highly so I got it. It was probably meant to be a review of quality, usability, etc., so it's well made, high quality, works very well. As I am someone who cleans after every use I can tell you nothing sticks to it which makes cleaning very easy BUT with all its rough edges it takes a very long time to clean thoroughly. First with paper towels (plenty), then with dry cotton rags, then with a damp cloth with a little detergent and finally with a thorough rinse with water. He cooks very well but the best part is that you can have fun with your family. Food. Like eating hot dogs over a campfire, a family dinner makes everything taste better with this one in the middle of the table. I wish everyone cooks their own little pieces of beef, shrimp or green peppers. and fight for a spot or claim their spot on the grill. It's so much fun and the food seems tastier. Really, the only downside is doing the dishes afterwards, but if you put it away while everyone else clears the table and puts the dishes in the dishwasher, then it's not too bad. spend time cleaning it. In our fast-paced lives, it's really nice to take our time and enjoy long, slow meals with family and friends, and cleaning up doesn't hurt.
