We have been able to use our mobile phone camera (the one in my pocket) for diagnosis purposes at home or while traveling without having to go into an ER or urgent care center - which can be difficult if you do not live near them.

It has also allowed us access to information that was previously unavailable due to insurance policies/limitations. The only downside I've found thus far when it comes to this technology is that sometimes there's some lag time between taking pictures and getting results back from their servers so they need to get better about keeping up with demand! Our doctor uses this app almost every day since he travels frequently throughout his practice area.
