Review on Enhanced Polarized Replacement Lenses for Oakley Antix sunglasses by Jason Sundstrom

Caused a little eyestrain

So I've been wearing Oakley shoes for probably 20 years. I also have very good eyesight that doesn't need correction judging by my last visit to the optometrist a few months ago. I was very excited when I found these "aftermarket" replacement parts for my Antix. Not to mention they cost 70% less than comparable Oakley lenses. An important factor for me was also this unobtrusive black color. Looks so cool and better (more modern) than the full mirrored look of the OEM Black Iridium Polarized. Shipping was fast and the lenses fit my Antix perfectly. Then came the problems. Almost immediately I had an "eye headache" in my left eye. And I'm not the type of person who is very sensitive to such things. I figured I just needed some time to get used to the new lenses so I left them on. No more headaches with subsequent use of these lenses, but I did notice very, very slight eyestrain. A good example is reading the bumper sticker of the car in front of you in a stopped stream. When the printout is "medium" or even small, I've never had trouble reading it when stopping for another machine. But with those lenses, the image was suddenly blurry so slightly that I had to squint and adjust focus (or just take my Oakley glasses off my eyes) to read the stickers. I went back to my OEM Black Iridium Polarized and all the problems are gone. I'm very upset that they didn't work. The invisible black color is amazing and it fits perfectly. Hope you have better luck.
