Review on Miele Classic C1 Suction Hose - 07736191 Pipe Grey 1.6m Miele Vacuum Cleaner by Shelley Nims

This replacement hose was advertised as a Miele product but is not. As you can see from the photos the original hose has a part number while the replacement hose only has a gap in the same place. . I bought this more expensive hose specifically because reviews of cheaper replacement hoses suggested they were non-original and leaked suction. This hose also sucks leaking, which causes high noise. Not sure if the sellers or Revains are to blame as this hose was shipped direct from Revain and was bundled with another order that I am placing later. The item said it would be delivered by the seller. Regardless, I'd like to note that I like my Miele vacuum, but why does the hose only last 5 years on such an expensive product? Take this and the cost of replacing the hose into account when purchasing a Miele vacuum cleaner.
