My first impression of this brush is excellent. It feels like an extension of my hand. Its footprint is like a bar of soap, so it should fit snugly in most hands. The back is flexible so I have a good feel for how much pressure I'm applying while brushing. There are so many bristles that it's more like peeling vegetables with a washcloth than a scraper. The silicone looks like it will last, unlike nylon bristle brushes where the bristles are constantly flexing with use. The brush is very easy to clean. Dirt doesn't really get caught in it. Rinsing it under the tap is usually enough, maybe flexing it a bit to expose the bristles, and boiling water doesn't seem to affect it. Cleaning surfaces with more shape, such as B. deep pockets in a stale tomato, dents in a bruised zucchini, or an almost impossible-to-clean celery root. I almost always use this brush. For more demanding vegetable peeling tasks, I keep two nylon bristle scrubbers, one with medium bristles (a little longer than a toothbrush bristle) and one with long bristles (about twice the length of a toothbrush bristle).
