As mentioned, the pins are a little loose and can be removed if you use the product as it is supplied. A simple and inexpensive "hack" is to use a glue gun on the bottom of the pins to hold them in place. We've had this stand for almost 3 years now and really haven't had any issues with it. Of course, if the child removes the puzzles themselves or tries to put them on the stand, the pieces can fall out, but with a little help, helping the child clean up is no problem. Most jigsaw puzzles with giant handles have 6 pieces or fewer. Overall solid wooden base, good storage space for 4 puzzles and more attractive than metal shelves in my opinion.
