They are very light weight but block the sun.
We have 6 windows in the family room that get direct sun in the afternoon and heat up that room. I removed the tops with the rings and sewed a narrow pocket at the top. This was so I could use tension rods inside the windows. Then used the fabric I cut off to make tie backs.
- I’m not to much of a morning person so the room darkening is great. And love the design
- The curtains may not be as insulating as advertised.
