I'm African American and this is the second time I've strayed from my favorite whale clipper. They DEFINITELY cut tighter and more efficiently than these. I'm sure they would be excellent for finer hair, but now I know I have to go to any lengths to get a Whal clipper (made in the USA). Whale horsehair trimmers are the same and can be purchased at any tractor store. 👍🏾🤷🏾‍♂️At the same time they are well made and quite strong. Wireless is very liberating after years of wired clippers. I definitely enjoyed that aspect.
