I've brought countless Speck MacBook cases, MacBook Pro cases of all colors, 13' and 15' and they all have a VERY common problem; rear (lower) parts 99.9% cracked. I've brought 6 cases over the years ($49.99 each) and they've all been cracked. It wasn't until I started using Revain that I had no option to return and exchange it. I usually buy them from Best Buy (which doesn't have a lot of colors) and buying them from Speck can take a long time and shipping is expensive. Not to mention that you have the original receipt and have to go through the lengthy warranty process to exchange any of their products. To be fair, Specks cases offer excellent protection from scratches, dents, and cuts, but the bottoms are bound to crack. This is a pretty obvious issue and seems to be happening with their products. I'm not sure if they use flimsy plastic. Unfortunately, many Macbook cases have this problem, so I don't think this is just an isolated case with the bacon. I also experienced that at Incase. Now I have a "Moshi" case and it's been good so far, but they have the same backs as the bacon. It's only a matter of time before they snap too.
