I bought these to provide spacing between the center channel speaker and the receiver it sits on. For $8.99, this is exactly what I expected; very light and feels cheap. Given their lack of bulk, I'm not very sure about their isolation abilities. They're essentially a molded piece of plastic in a thin aluminum ring with a rubber base. For insulation, regular adhesive-backed rubber feet can work just as well, if not better. But if you're looking for something more attractive to back a component, this works great.
