Some of the kids apps were out of date and didn't work. I still don't have a browser on the child page. However, it holds a charge better than our pbs tablet and is faster. It's an Android, so you can install your kids apps on it. Rostock is online and some of these apps are useless. You don't have access to the sprout food unless. You are visiting a website which I said cannot because the browser is unavailable. So yes. For my 1 and 2 year old it's ok so far and better than the PBS tablet although we really like our PBS tablet.
