These worked great around the resort and into the rocky ocean in Cozumel. Also used in the local pool that has a rough bottom.The rubber is very flexible and not super thick. Not much padding in the sole. The uppers are also very flexible and soft. The pictures give the impression that this is like a tennis shoe that can get wet. It’s not. It’s a true water shoe. Great for the pool/beach but I would not use them for hiking or going to the mall.I do plan on bringing them on a backpack trip to use for wet wading. They are much lighter and more crushable than my wading shoes, so they’d be better to carry in/on my backpack.Length is as expected, but they run a bit narrow. That’s not a problem for me because the uppers are like a lightweight cloth that will expand around your foot. If the uppers were more like a tennis shoe, they would probably squeeze my foot too much.Overall, definitely worth it for the price - especially if you like the looks. Just don’t have high expectations as if it’s a multi purpose shoe that can be worn in place of your regular sneakers.
