. While you wait and enjoy creative troubleshooting (with a healthy dose of collaboration) *Updated Review* I purchased this item because I expected a lot of troubleshooting (and therefore patience) and a fairly difficult learning curve. Buy this knowing that it is not directly from Comgrow, but a Comgrow branded item from a third party. Do not contact Comgrow directly with any problems; Instead, contact the seller through Revain. They help with email troubleshooting. The attractive feature of this particular printer was the base print size. I don't think I'll print anything that big. but I wanted to keep my options open (with three geeky sons, I expect to end up printing big stuff). The large size of the print bed probably makes it much more important to level the printer before printing. The beauty of the officially released Ender-3 Max is the fact that Creality listened to the early beta product reviewers and added certain things that were recommended such as a silent motherboard, tempered glass bed, high quality springs, large ergonomic leveling knobs and (axial) limiter. Plus, it comes mostly pre-assembled (and well-assembled: everything is tightened and properly in place) for most likely safe transport of this massive Ender 3 beast, as compact as a crate they could stuff it in. warned that a faulty batch was sent to this seller so this is not the seller's fault. The Max does not have an adjustable Z-stop, instead it must be screwed into predefined holes. and on a failed batch of Ender 3 Max printers, these holes were pre-drilled too high on a vertical bar. The seller was able to find a working solution that came from previous incarnations of Ender 3. I am sure that this problem has already been solved. but if you find yourself having trouble leveling the bed when the springs are loosened to the point where they are fully decompressed and you have no room to loosen them because your grip is at the bottom of the screws has reached. Contact the seller as they know the solution. When printing with the filament turned on, part of the filament was either tangled or broken apart and the filament sensor didn't detect it. So the printer kept trying to print with no filament coming out. The first superficial "solution" was to get a better filament spool. but I keep worrying that one day the part might break and the printer won't realize it's missing filament. Price, size, good components, mostly pre-assembled product and help (and knowing in advance that it will take quite a bit of time and troubleshooting to learn how to use this printer properly) I would give this printer 4.5 stars, but rounded up to 5 because the seller is committed to this product. Work. This is a pretty good printer to work with as a first time printer, especially if you have a bit of a technical background and love to get things right.
