The brushes are approximately 5.5 inches long, some are longer and reversible. These aren't professional makeup brushes, but they hold up well, they blend, accentuate, highlight whatever you want. Expect the brush toolkit to do this. Some people report that the black "neck" of the brushes is loose on some brushes. I have not found this to be the case.
