These car shades are great in the sun. It's December now, so I will probably put them in the trunk until there is an unusually sunny day.I took a star off, because I don't like the plastic saran wrap stuff that clings to the window. It does stay on the window, but it's kind of ugly, especially from the outside. It looks like I ate lunch in the car and stuck the sandwich's saran wrap on the inside of the window. I'd almost prefer dealing with suction cups. However, people aren't buying these shades as a fashion statement, so I can't honestly take off more than 1 star.
