Review on ๐Ÿงน Efficient Cordless Cleaning: BLACK DECKER BDH2000L 20V Vacuum by Christie Cox

Falling apart, inconvenient charger

I've been using B&D for a while and have been quite happy with Pivot (although the door broke slightly, which is why I now have this device). This is a poor excuse for a vacuum, especially when compared to their other products. Fundamentally new about this product is the sheer reduction of plastic and metal in the construction, making it much cheaper to manufacture. The trash can is a tube, so it opens at both ends. It's not a very nice feature, but more of a duplication of failure points since I tore it apart at both ends and scattered dust everywhere! This happened multiple times in just one week, it's bad design period. Now for the charger! Who came up with this weird thing? It's a small donut that has to be balanced with a 15 degree vacuum at the end, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and it's so uncomfortable to end up balancing the vacuum at such a weird angle. Art is more important than functionality! It can easily be knocked over or disconnected from the charger.

Pros
  • Semi-transparent bin where dirt is easy to see and easy to empty
Cons
  • This makes me nervous
