Review on 🍽️ Cuisinart FP-13DSV Elemental 13 Cup Food Processor and Dicing Kit in Silver: Efficient Kitchen Appliance for Precise Chopping and Dicing by Timothy Kiley

The drive shaft is BROKEN after 3 months and the warranty makes PAYING repairs!

When I first got this food processor I jumped for joy. I even bought a veggie pasta maker. I diced, chopped, made noodles, whipped. I didn't mind that the storage of all the bits and pieces took up an entire shelf in the closet, or that I never felt I could use it without getting every blade and attachment dirty. What really bothers me is that after 3 months of using the Cuisinart FP-13DGM Elemental 13 cup food processor the drive shaft just stopped working. If you press any speed button, the center spindle (which drives the blades and attachments) spins once or twice and then just stops. The engine would continue to run, but the drive would stop. When I bought a Cuisinart FP-13DGM Elemental 13 Cup Stand Mixer, I was confident that a reputable company like Cuisinart would endorse their products. Hell, 3 year guarantee! But Cuisinart customer service said they will not replace the machine, AND they charge shipping both ways to send it to their factory for repair. This is for a car that is THREE MONTHS! When I protested they said to call Revain and see if Revain would replace it. Finally I asked the warranty rep to email me instructions on how to return the unit and she said that to do this I had to go to their website and email their email department. Cuisinart is clearly a company that does NOT stand behind their products and does NOT care about their customers' experience.
