Works great, good quality cable, no problems with video

The first thing to note is that it does NOT play any sound. This is not a defect of the product, it's just that VGA doesn't carry sound, so be aware before purchasing. This product does a good job with video quality. Now I can connect my VGA monitor to my Raspberry Pi and play video games on the VGA monitor. I can also use it to connect to computers that I want to fix or format on my old monitors. The cable itself is pretty solid. It's hard to bend, which is great, but harder to straighten. The VGA end is slightly larger than a typical VGA connector, but that's to be expected. It has screws to help you attach it to the VGA port more easily. I would recommend using this as the weight tends to snap in and out. The HDMI part is a standard size HDMI connector. That being said, it's HDMI-VGA ONLY, so you can use it to connect VGA monitors or screens to HDMI products. It does not convert from VGA to HDMI. It's also not the best product for gaming consoles on VGA monitors, as there's no audio going through either. That being said, if you're just trying to fix, even if you're just using it to connect an additional monitor (or even a main monitor) to your computer or laptop, it will work just fine. 6 feet gives you quite a bit of room to work and you can easily manage the cable with some zip ties. The cable itself has no video issues as far as I can tell. It might work with my monitor's resolution, but it all depends on the monitor and device. All in all, this is a good cable to bring your old monitors to life, so you can use them for other purposes, e.g. B. for computer repairs.
