So I started crocheting and my eyes get tired if I work too long with darker yarns. I needed something that I didn't have to adjust based on seat angle, but that would move with me. Overall it works GREAT! It comes with a USB cable for charging, but no adapter (which is fine, I have plugs in outlets that I can easily charge it from). It's a bright white light and there are buttons on either side to control a separate light. Left and right. 1 click, one of the two lights goes on. 2 clicks, another light goes on and one goes out. (Honestly I'm not sure what that is because the brightness doesn't change with 2 clicks, only in the corner of 1 bulb) but with 3 clicks both small bulbs in the lamp turn on. 4. Click and it turns off. I like that I can choose to include the left side or just the right side or both. It's definitely bright and won't strain your eyes!
