This product looks good, the fabric is a nice color and feels good but that's about it. To save on shipping costs, the base of the scratching post is actually two separate pieces held together with fabric. The screw hole isn't even a hole, it's a crescent, so when the boards are next to each other it forms a hole. Also, the wrong screw hole isn't even countersunk so the screw will stick out and rub against the floor, which isn't a problem if you have carpet, but on a hard floor like mine it will scratch the floor. The height of the rack creates a lot of pressure on the bottom of the tube and on the base so adult cats are not carried. I think it will work fine for a while because my kitty is very light. If it breaks, which it will, I will replace it with another product. I am very disappointed with this product, especially after waiting 15 days for Prime delivery. The stand is also short by nearly 2 inches (overall height 1 3/4 inches including base).
