I bought these photo albums because they looked so beautiful. Each photo slot has a place to write a description of the picture, so that was a nice feature. They are very stylish and decorative but unfortunately that is all they are. They're not meant to be functional. It took over a month to print, sort and put 300 photos of our newborn son into this photo album and while I was putting the photos into the photo album the album pages themselves were torn at the spine. .Why do you ask? Because I had to open the album like a book. While the photo album was sitting on my desk so I could insert the photos, I noticed that the photo album cover had separated from the spine of the photo pages. 2 thin strips of green glue. A small dab of glue at the top of the back and a small dab of glue at the bottom of the back. The glue wasn't applied the full length of the book's spine, so the pages immediately separated from the cover under the weight of the photo book. "Just lying on my desk under the influence of gravity. Interestingly, the very first and very last pages of the photo album are actually hardwired into the album cover and separate from the center of the photo book itself. You will notice that some of the photos are the second of four photo albums that came with the set. It's brand new, I took off the bubble wrap and put it on the table to offset the weight of the blank photo pages the glue has come loose (not even filled with photos). Also you will notice in an attached photo that each page is perforated, to rip out of the book. Was this intended and pre-planned for couples who are getting divorced so they can easily rip pages out of their photo album? This is another example of bad design. But now it's clear why the first and last pages are different separated from the center and stuck to the cover due to these perforated sides. Money went in the packaging and they ran out of money for glue. Just kidding, even if they glued the entire back together, I doubt the weight of the photo-filled pages would hold it together. Absolutely cheap and terribly high quality design. The way this photo album was made, it cannot withstand the gravity of opening when filled with photos. Buyer BEWARE! You have been warned! I rarely write reviews but feel it my duty to try and save someone their money because unfortunately my return window has closed and I'm now stuck with four books of crap. Okay, sorry, I'm done whining. I would have quit a lot sooner if I hadn't lost almost $50 on that shit.
