Review on ๐ŸŽ Seahorse 56 Micro Case in Blue: Durable and Protective Storage Solution (SE56, BL) by Jerimiah Augustine

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Incredibly durable despite the low price

These tiny boxes are stronger than the big seahorse boxes or maybe any other box I have. I have all kinds of Nanuk, Pelican and Plano cases of different sizes and this particular Seahorse case seems to be more durable than all the others. The number of ribs on such a small body, combined with the relatively large thickness, makes it so strong that I just can't get it to bend with my bare hands, and I'm honestly not sure how I could damage it without tools could . The ribbing means they're actually larger than they appear on paper, and the thickness means they weigh more than, say, the equally cheap Plano Stowaway series. Judge for yourself if this is an acceptable compromise between extreme strength and lack of flexibility. "Yellow" is more of a "sick baby poop" with hints of neon green, but I don't care. I also have an orange block advertised as a brilliant "EMT Orange". YMMV in colors but the quality is top notch.

Pros
  • Elastomeric seal makes our case waterproof and dustproof. Degree of protection IP 67 (30 minutes at a height of 1 meter).
Cons
  • Big and bulky
