$10 for 18 pairs of knitting needles are very low, I ordered them last minute and wasn't expecting top quality but I was surprised at how sub par this item is. The needles themselves are made from high quality bamboo and are easy to work with and the stitches slide easily over them, but the real problem is the cord. It is made of elastic rubber material that makes it difficult for the stitches to slip due to the stretch and stickiness of the material. The cord does not attach smoothly to the needles, resulting in a protrusion at the base of the needles where some of the threads get caught and frayed. This made the product difficult to use, but not impossible, and I was willing to ignore these shortcomings until the cord broke just hours after I started using the needle set. If you are on a budget I would recommend purchasing a set of good quality circular knitting needles for your project rather than a pack like these. If you spend less than $1 for a set of needles, the quality is low.
