I received several tfal pots and pans for christmas and none of the lids that came with them fit the pan; I had another pan that I wanted a lid for, so I figured it was time to get one. I like it! I love that it's metal free so doesn't have very hot parts and I can use it in the microwave to cover my food! To be honest, that was an advantage for me. It's a bit heavier but I think that means it's good quality. I wash it in the dishwasher so it doesn't get in the way, but I mostly hand wash it. Steam leaks occasionally as it doesn't create a tight/tight seal, but it's definitely a lot less than if you leave it open.
