Lid too big for toaster

I liked the fabric and the look but it was too big for my toaster. It was advertised as a two-slice toaster lid. I have a 2-slot toaster but it was big, I knew it was made for one of those really big 4-slot toasters. So I had to take a needle and thread and after cutting off a piece I sewed them together to fit my toaster.
