It has a really strong citrus scent that smells clean. IF you can spray it in the toilet without spraying it on you or the toilet, it will freshen up the room. The scent is not overpowering, a good masking smell. BUT... that sprayer sucks! You keep trying to apply pressure and nothing happens, then almost nothing comes out and it either squirts unevenly or sticks together and drips onto your hand. It's literally a two-handed job getting this thing to work. I switched to a different bottle and had no problem getting this type of spray. So for smell and odor masking I would say it's good but for the product itself and the design it sucks and a failing.
