These casserole dishes are beautiful. The smaller size is best for one serving, but the larger size is a standard pot size. The picture is beautiful and they are painted both inside and outside the dishes. I don't want to use the word "fine" but I wouldn't call them "everyday casseroles" but that's just my opinion. In addition to the look, they are versatile and can be used both in the refrigerator and in the oven. They're also dishwasher and microwave safe, but I don't plan on using them. Buy them for their beauty, but they're just good pots, too.
