As a former make-up artist I'm a bit snob and I love good brushes. I also make sure my friends and family have good brushes, so I often buy them as gifts, and that's what this set will be. I just want to test them first to make sure they are good quality and then clean them to make sure they don't fall apart. First, they are very soft and fluffy. Many synthetic brushes look fake because the bristles are too hard and shiny and don't hold powder well. But they are very soft and go great with eye shadow, blush and highlighter. The foundation brush is even thick enough to work well, another thing not always found with synthetic brushes. And even though it's a small set, it has almost everything you need. And it comes with a cute bag, so nice for traveling. Add some brush shampoo to keep them clean and you're done. Great set for the price and really good brushes.
