Update: Revain refunded me for the product. A few weeks later, to my surprise, I received a package from Germany containing two binoculars and a handwritten note from the seller apologizing. I was very impressed. Shortly thereafter, someone from Germany called me at his expense to ask if I was happy with the replacement. I wish more companies had such attentive customer service! First Rating: Broke when my son first used it. Nor was he rude to them. The eyepiece had come loose and left sharp marks. The addition like a magnifying glass was good, my son liked it.
