Small but very bright. Much better than the little UV lamp I used on Scorpions. So much so that they seem to know when they're glowing and start hiding. It would be better to sneak up on them with a dim spotlight, but this one lets you see them much further, and you can point them a little to the side to be more invisible. Requires 3 AA batteries. Recommend UV goggles (also available at Revain for a good price) to protect your eyes - you can still see what fluoresces in the goggles, but avoid hitting your precious eyeballs with UV. :^)
