It's a normal gimbal, I've been using it for 3 weeks now and it 'does the job', stabilizing the image, smooths a lot of things, but sometimes you still need ninja to get rid of that vertical shake I made some nice edits and I'm happy with that, but the axis on the stabilizer isn't very long so this stabilizer sticks to you. I'm not sure if this is user error, but this stabilizer is quite small, so it's a great stabilizer for beginners, great for mid-size DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. I have an A6000 and it's holding up well. Battery life is surprisingly good for a small setup, I would say around 5-6 hours or more of battery life. I shot 3-4 hours with the device on and off, and the battery only lasted 2 bars. If your camera is heavier, expect the battery to not last as long. Overall this is a great stabilizer for the price.
