I don't like these cable protectors. They don't stay in place and therefore slip off the part of the cable that really needs to be protected. They also don't provide enough protection to prevent the cable from bending. You can bend it almost the same as without it. In my photo you can see that the end that should stick to the cord doesn't. This cable had the coating torn on top so I put tape on it to protect it, but this cable protector just slides off with the tape. Another reviewer suggested doubling the cable protection, which I tried. It works and creates a stiffer product, but it's so bulky at that end and difficult to get your fingers all the way and insert it (hard to explain what I'm talking about). I'm glad they were cheap because I removed them from all of our cords. Maybe they will become good toys for cats.
