Schedule a trip to the hardware store

Remember: you paid $20. Any reasonably well-made product like this costs over $100. So quality: It's cheap. Very cheap. I understand why so many people who bought it broke or broke it during installation or the first ride. Is it 5 times worse than a famous brand? I don't believe. Ease of Installation: Again, it's cheap. There are absolutely no instructions, but it's pretty easy. You loosen the screws on the side of the headlight and mount the base of the bracket there. I've only driven it about 100 miles but it's a Yamaha SCR950 (V-Twin engine) so it vibrates like crazy on its own. I believe if it lasts up to 100 miles it will last well enough. What you need to make it work: 2 screws (same thread as stock headlight screws but longer (wide head works best) 8 rubber washers for where the bracket meets the screen (to prevent cracking) Blue threaded retainer ( to secure the nuts without overtightening and cracking them) Approximately 8 more washers to fit your new "standard" bolts in case your bolt head isn't wide enough.

Pros
  • Like everyone so far
Cons
  • Operating speed
