Received this in hopes that it would cut the onion well, so I didn't have to. It's not like that. Not only do you have to cut the onion into small pieces first, but you also have to use very strong pressure to make it work. Every time I felt like that Plastic was bending and really thought it was about to break. Then I tried something simpler just to see if the bulb was hard. I tried cutting some lettuce. It was already small pieces. But no, it still will won't work. Neither will soft apples. Nothing I've tried has worked without pressing so hard it almost breaks the plastic. I've tried cleaning it up so I could use other parts, but it was almost impossible .I used so even her little brush and pickaxe as tools. After 5 minutes of cleaning, there were still leftovers in it. Nothing should be that difficult. I send back.
