When I first rode my '17 GMC Canyon at night I was blown away. Aiming headlights was fine for nighttime bird watching, but not much else; It was actually dangerous to drive in the dark. Not so much after properly aiming and ejecting regular lightbulbs. A minor annoyance is that the supplier advertises them as "90W", which is misleading at best. They are 45 watts EACH. Of course, it is sold in a set of 2 for low beam or high beam. I chose LED over HID because I have installed several HID bulbs in different vehicles and simply feel that LEDs are a superior technology. The powerful HID set in my last truck partially melted the base of the headlight; I hope those 45 watt LEDs aren't that hot. And I like the fact that LEDs are basically plug and play; no relays with associated wiring and possible "headlight fault" messages on the dashboard. These bulbs have been in my canyon for nine months and 10,000 miles, low beam all the time (DRL) and no noticeable loss in brightness. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.
